Dyson Chitosan™ Pre-style cream helps lock in flexible hold and prime your hair ready for styling, while Dyson Chitosan™ Post-style serum is designed to hold and hydrate your end style and add instant shine and definition.

Both products condition the hair surface, reducing frizz by up to 50%¹ and giving a soft, shiny finish.

While conventional styling products create brittle, glue-like hold between fibers, Dyson Triodetic™ technology uses chitosan to help create flexible bonds that hold and condition hair, strand by strand.

Our Dyson Chitosan™ range is compatible with all styling routines, no matter the device you’re using. However, Dyson Chitosan™ Pre-style cream and Post-style serum are the only styling products specifically designed and tested to work with Dyson hair care devices.

They’re the perfect partner to help your styles last longer – from curls or blowouts styled with the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler and dryer, to natural straight looks styled with the Dyson Airstrait™ straightener.

Let’s explore how to use the range with some of our Dyson tools.

1. Start with freshly washed and towel-dried hair. Gently detangle using the Dyson Detangling comb.
2. Dispense 1-2 pumps of Dyson Chitosan™ Pre-style cream into your palms and sheer to a transparent serum.
3. Smooth through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, building up the product as needed. The amount you use will depend on your texture, thickness and length.
4. Ensure the product is evenly distributed by combing through with your Dyson Detangling comb.
5. Using your drying attachment, dry until 80% dry. Then, use your chosen Dyson Airwrap™ barrel attachment to style.
6. Once all your hair is curled, sheer 1-2 pumps of Dyson Chitosan™ Post-style serum through your hands. Use your fingertips to rake through the curls then define as needed.

1. Start with freshly washed and towel-dried hair. Gentling de-tangle using the Dyson Detangling comb.
2. Dispense 1-2 pumps of Dyson Chitosan™ Pre-style cream into your palms and sheer into a transparent serum.
3. Smooth through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, building up the product as needed. The amount you use will depend on your texture, thickness and length.
4. Ensure the product is evenly distributed by combing through with your Dyson Detangling comb.
5. Style with your favorite wet-to-dry Dyson machine such as the Dyson Airstrait™ straightener or Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer. The Pre-style cream will help lock in styles with movement and shine.
6. Next, style with your hot tool such as the Dyson Corrale™ hair straightener, if you use this within your routine.
7. Finally, define your end style with the Dyson Chitosan Post-style serum. Start with 1-2 pumps and sheer through your hands, smoothing through the mid-lengths and ends. This will hold and hydrate your end style, protecting from humidity and helping to reduce frizz.
