How to use Dyson Chitosan™ styling products in your hair styling routine

Dyson Chitosan™ styling products are our first hair care formulations.

They’re engineered for all hair types and powered by our hero hold ingredient chitosan [chi-to-san] – a complex macromolecule, derived from oyster mushrooms.

Dyson Triodetic™ technology uses chitosan to help create flexible bonds that support hair, strand by strand.

The foundation of your styling routine, the Dyson Chitosan™ Pre-style cream helps lock in flexible hold and prime your hair ready for styling.

It comes in four variants, each carefully developed to deliver optimum conditioning, without weighing down your hair.

Choose from Straight to wavy light conditioning, Straight to wavy rich conditioning, Curly to coily light conditioning or Curly to coily rich conditioning.

Dyson Chitosan™ Post-style serum is designed to hold and hydrate your end style and add instant shine and definition.

Use the serum on your finished styles for hair that looks and feels moisturized, soft and smooth.

For all hair types. Work through the hair with your fingers to smooth, define and enhance.

Our Pre-style creams have a rich cream-to-serum texture, while our Post-style serum is a weightless formula.

Both styling products give flexible all-day hold, up to 50% less frizz and are fragranced with sparkling bergamot, subtle florals, and warming cedarwood, moss and musk.

Our formulas have a three-stage application process, which we call ‘Pump, Sheer, Smooth’.

Use the Pre-style cream on damp, towel-dried hair before styling with your favorite device, and the Post-style serum on your end style.

The products can slot individually into your existing routine, or you can use them together.

Remove lid. Position the pump mid-palm and push down to dispense one dose of product. We recommend starting with 1-2 pumps, before adding more as needed. You can build up the dosage for your hair thickness and density.

Sheer gently between your palms. For the Pre-style cream, do this until the formula transforms from a rich cream to a transparent serum.

Smooth evenly through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair.

All of our full-size formulation products are refillable and built to last. When you’re approaching the end of your existing product, simply order a refill and follow the instructions on the cartridge to replace. Your used cartridge can be recycled at home.
