What is Dyson's return policy?

If you’d like to return a Dyson machine* for a full refund, you need to return the machine within 30 days from the delivery date.
Purchases made directly from www.dysoncanada.ca, Dyson Demo Stores, or Dyson helpline are eligible for a full money-back. The Dyson outlet's refurbished machines are final sale and are not eligible to be returned.
Purchases made directly from a Dyson Demo Store in Canada are eligible for a full refund on the original method of payment within 30 days of the purchase date. An eligible return must occur at a Dyson Demo Store in Canada and include: the original receipt, the original payment card, all attachments and accessories.
Dyson Demo Store purchases presented with a gift receipt are eligible for exchange only, of equal or greater value, within 30 days of the purchase date. An eligible exchange must occur at a Dyson Demo Store in Canada and include all attachments and accessories.
The Dyson outlet's refurbished machines and Final Sale items (including Dyson Airwrap first generation) are final sale and are not eligible for returns. They are only eligible for warranty service. If your machine arrived damaged or you have received the wrong product, please contact us.
Intentional cosmetic decoration or modification that may impact a product’s resale, refurbishment, restoration or usability will void the terms of your product’s warranty and the Dyson return policy.
Product must be new and in original packaging. It cannot be reconditioned (refurbished), used, damaged, returned, open box, "close out", "clearance" or a demonstrator product.
Dyson reserves the right to rescind this offer at any time and/or modify these terms and conditions as needed.
How do I start a return for an online purchase?
To return products purchased from Dysoncanada.ca, please complete the following steps:
- Submit the form below. Our team will respond with return authorization information within 48 hours.
- Package the item(s) to be returned in the original Dyson packaging.
Please note:
- You must complete the return before shipping back a purchase. Unauthorized or billing-upon-receipt returns will not be accepted.
- Products purchased directly from Dyson and returned to Dyson will receive a full refund.*
- Your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days once the returned item is received and processed. It can take 1-2 billing cycles depending on payment used and the practices of your financial institution to receive the credited funds.
- Counterfeit machines are not eligible for a Dyson return and refund.
- Purchases of Dyson products from another retailer should be returned to the retailer of purchase.
*Refund policy is not applicable to counterfeit, stolen or otherwise ineligible products.
How do I start a return for an in-store purchase?
Bring your machine and your receipt back to the Demo Store, and a Dyson expert will assist you in processing the return. Returns and exchanges must be completed within 30 days of the original purchase date. Does Dyson cover return shipping for online purchases?
Dysoncanada.ca will pay for standard return shipping. Any other additional charges related to expedited shipping will not be refunded. Dyson provides a pre-paid printable label to make the return. Submit the return form below to receive the pre-paid label.
Can I return a Dysoncanada.ca purchase to a Dyson Demo Store or Service Center?
A purchase made online at Dysoncanada.ca should be returned through Dyson.ca. Contact us if you need additional support.
Can I exchange one Dyson machine for another?
For purchases made on Dysoncanada.ca, Dyson does not offer exchanges unless the machine was damaged in transit. Machines are covered under warranty service with repair and servicing support. You can visit Support at Dysoncanada.ca for troubleshooting resources or contact us to help resolve any issues.
For purchases made at a Dyson Demo Store, an exchange can be made for an identical machine with the same specifications. If a different color or model is desired a return and new purchase is required. Dyson Demo Stores can process exchanges on A-grade machines but cannot process warranty issues or exchanges on refurbished machines or machines identified as final sale from the Dyson Outlet.
For purchases of refurbished machines and machines identified as final sale from the Dyson Outlet, sales are final and not subject to exchange. When can I expect my refund?

How does Dyson handle return requests that are past the 30-day return window?

What is the return and exchange policy for the Dyson outlet?

How do returns work with Affirm?
We've partnered with Affirm to offer qualified applicants easy monthly payments for purchases. Any installment payments that have been made will be refunded through Affirm once the return has been processed. No additional installment payments will be required. What happens to my refund if I return a Dyson product that was a gift?

Do I need to return the free gift or accessory that I received with my order if I return the qualifying purchased item?
All Dyson gift with purchase items must also be returned if you are returning the original qualifying product. You will receive multiple shipping labels based on your order and original shipment once you have submitted a return request. A customer service agent can assist you through the process.
Can I return my Dyson purchase without a receipt?
A receipt is the best way to guarantee a return and refund. If you are unable to find your receipt, Dyson will work with you to find order reference details when possible. Dyson cannot guarantee return and refund where proof of purchase cannot be located.
What do I do if I no longer have the original Dyson packaging to ship the machine back in?
If you have discarded your original Dyson packaging and need to make a return, we can help. Please contact us so we can work with you on a solution.
Does Dysoncanada.com accept returns of Dyson products purchased from another retailer?
