What influence does more suction pressure (Pa) have?

Suction power (AW), the most holistic view of vacuum performance requires both airflow and suction pressure and therefore having high suction pressure (Pa) is necessary for strong vacuum performance.

What’s the difference between Pascals and Air Watts?

Pascals (Pa) are a unit of measurement used in physics to describe a difference in pressure inside and outside an object. Meanwhile, Air Watts (AW) measure suction power, accounting for both pressure (Pa) and rate of airflow. Since it’s a holistic measurement, looking at Air Watts is the most useful way to assess vacuum performance.

What makes the Dyson 360 Vis Navᵀᴹ different from other robot vacuum cleaners?

The Dyson 360 Vis Nav™ generates twice the suction of any other robot vacuum and sucks up more than any other robot across all floors thanks to its 22,000 Pa suction pressure.¹ And with our patented cyclone technology, there is never any loss of suction. The D-shaped body of the 360 Vis Nav™ makes cleaning into corners easier unlike circular robots and with the addition of our new extracting side duct, you can reach right up to the edge and into corners so no part of your home is left untouched. Our new triple-action brush bar is the first to include 3 ways to clean across all floor types so it deep cleans your home like no other and with dual link suspension the robot can climb up to 21mm. A piezo sensor inside the robot, monitors dust levels – automatically increasing suction power when it detects more dust, while time of flight sensors detect walls and objects up to 2 metres away. Finally, whole-machine HEPA filtration traps dust and seals in 99.99% of particles as microscopically small as 0.1 microns.

Does the Dyson 360 Vis Navᵀᴹ robot vacuum clean across carpets and hard floors?

Yes, the Dyson 360 Vis Nav™ robot vacuum includes our new triple action brush bar, which combines three ways to deep clean and is engineered for all floor types. Anti-static black carbon fibre filaments extract dust from hard floors and crevices, stiff nylon bristles drive deep to remove ground-in dirt and pet hair from rugs and carpets and soft woven nylon fibres capture large debris across all floor types. However, the Dyson 360 Vis Nav™ robot vacuum cannot be used on damp or wet floors.

Is the Dyson 360 Vis Navᵀᴹ robot vacuum designed for homes with pets?

Yes, our robot has twice the suction of any other robot¹ and sucks up more than any other robot across all floors, so it can pick up pet hair from all around your home. The triple action is also engineered with a wide diameter to reduce hair tangling. Set your robot to Quiet mode to keep things peaceful for pets.

How long is the run time of the Dyson 360 Vis Navᵀᴹ robot vacuum?

A 12-cell lithium-ion battery delivers up to 65 minutes of powerful fade-free suction when our robot vacuum is in Quiet mode. However, total run time will vary based on power mode, floor type, furniture layout and dust levels. When the robot needs to recharge it will automatically return to the dock to charge. Then once fully charged it will go back and resume cleaning from where it left off. In total, the Dyson 360 Vis Nav™ robot takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to fully recharge.

Is the Dyson 360 Vis Navᵀᴹ robot vacuum smart home connected?

Yes, through the My Dyson™ app you can control, customize and schedule your cleaning, whether you are at home or not. Our robot is also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant and can be controlled through voice commands alone. You can customize your cleaning by defining zones around your home and choosing how and when your robot cleans them by setting times, days and power mode. You can also set rules and routines, such as switching off the brush bar motor for quiet spaces and deep-pile rugs, defining no-climb zones, or setting areas to avoid altogether. Once finished, the MyDyson™ app will display a cleaning report – showing scientific proof of a deep clean, where your robot has cleaned and how much dust it has picked up. Finally, the MyDyson™ app ensures your robot will always have the latest functionalities and features through automatic software updates over Wi-Fi.

Do I need to connect to the app?
